Hey there, I'm Jos!
I'm a nostalgic soul, a creative junkie, and a self-proclaimed iced coffee connoisseur. Based in Hastings, Nebraska, I spend my days balancing motherhood, photography, and my work as a pediatric speech-language pathologist.
Photography became my creative outlet after becoming a mom and realizing just how quickly each season passes. Suddenly, I understood how the tiniest moments can feel completely ordinary while you’re living it, yet incredibly significant once it’s gone. My goal is to preserve all the little details that seem to disappear far too quickly, especially the moments you'll want to relive years from now.
That perspective has shaped so much of who I am, both personally and creatively. I love photographs that bring back a feeling, not just a face. The kind that remind you of what your child’s personality was like at that age, what life felt like in your home, or what this particular chapter looked like before everything changed again.
Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me with my family, chasing after my toddler, overthinking home projects, finding another creative hobby, or making an unnecessary iced coffee run. I’m equal parts sentimental and practical, and I think that carries into the way I see people and the stories worth documenting.
At the heart of it all, I’m someone who deeply values memories, connection, and having something tangible to look back on. Photography just happens to be the way I’ve found to hold onto a little piece of it.
